The EVTRACKER is a quick and easy way to track the energy/power by an electric vehicle. It has a 240V male plug on one end and a 240V female outlet on the other where the EV Charger (EVSE) is plugged in..
The EVTRACKER display includes voltage, current (amps), power (watts) and energy (kWatt-hours). The display is a separate small box (5.3 x 3 x 2d”) that may be located for convenient viewing up to 3’ from the 240V outlet.
INSTALLATION Plug the EVTRACKER male 240V plug into the wall and plug the EV Charger into the EVTRACKER 240V female outlet. Locate the EVTRACKER display for easy viewing upto 28” above.
OPERATION Any time the EVTRACKER is connected to 240V the display will turn on and display the voltage. The display will read zero amps & watts. When the EV Charger is connected a small amount of current will be displayed (ie the EV Charger standby current). When the EV Charger is connected to the vehicle, the EVTRACKER display will show the voltage, current, watts and total energy used (kWatt-hours) by the electric vehicle.
ENERGY DISPLAY RESET The EVTRACKER displays the total energy consumed by the Vehicle (and a small amount by the EV Charger). The total energy will be retained even when the EVTRACKER is unplugged. To reset the total energy, press the reset button to the right of the display and hold (> 10 sec) until the ‘energy’ display blinks. Press the button again to reset the total energy.
